Audit Details

Audit Details shows a paginated table of all custom fields from the loaded audit run, with summary metrics and an inspection view for detailed evidence.

Results Table

The results table includes one row per custom field. Columns show:

  • ID — the Jira field ID (e.g., customfield_12345). The customfield_ prefix is hidden visually for readability, but remains visible in tooltips and when you inspect a field.
  • Field — the field's display name.
  • Type — the custom field type (e.g., Text, Select, Date, etc.).
  • Status — governance status (see below).
  • Confidence — how complete the evidence is for this field's status.
  • Risk — the risk level of changing or removing this field.
  • Usage — detected usage signals.
  • Spaces — associated Jira projects.
  • Elements — configuration elements (screens, field configurations, etc.).
  • Dependencies — filters and boards that reference this field.
  • Boards — boards that depend on filters already matched to this field.
  • Inspect — open detailed evidence for the selected field.

You can sort by most columns and search for fields by name or ID. You can also filter results by governance status, confidence level, and signal type to narrow down results.

Field Identity

Audit 360 keeps fields separate by Jira field ID. If two fields have the same display name, they remain separate rows to avoid confusion.

Fields whose normalized display names (ignoring case and spacing) are identical are flagged as duplicates in the results. Duplicate details are available in the field's inspection view.

Status, Confidence, and Risk

Each row carries three decision-support indicators:

  • Status — Healthy, Review, Cleanup candidate, High risk to change, or Insufficient coverage. This reflects the field's governance state based on detected signals.
  • Confidence — High, Medium, or Low. It reflects how complete the audit's evidence is for this field. Confidence drops when Jira API coverage is partial or when population data is unavailable.
  • Risk — Low, Medium, High, or Critical. This reflects how risky it would be to change, rename, or remove the field, based on detected dependencies and configuration complexity. Risk is not a measure of the field's quality or importance.

These indicators are advisory only. Confirm business ownership and external dependencies with stakeholders before acting on any recommendation.

Inspection

Select Inspect to open a detailed view for a single field. Inspection shows:

  • Profile — field ID, name, type, and locked state.
  • Governance — status, confidence, risk score, duplicate intelligence, and field-specific coverage notes.
  • Usage — detected usage signals.
  • Filters — saved filters that reference this field, including the filter owner's name where available.
  • Boards — boards that depend on filters already matched to this field.
  • Workflow — workflow definitions and transitions that reference this field.
  • Spaces — Jira projects associated with this field, including project name and lead where available.

Inspection details load only for the selected field and do not load all evidence rows at once. Inspection is available even when one or more evidence sections are empty for that field.

Coverage Notes

Non-blocking notes may appear below the Audit Details table to explain partial coverage or Jira API limitations. These notes help you understand why certain fields may have a "Low" or "Medium" confidence indicator.
