Spaces Audit Overview

Audit Overview is the starting point for Spaces Audit. It shows the loaded audit run's identity, key metrics, visuals, and governance insights at a glance.

What the Overview Shows

When an audit run is loaded, Audit Overview displays:

  • Run identity — run name, completion timestamp, who ran it, and how many spaces were scanned.
  • Summary metrics — total spaces, active spaces, inactive spaces, high-risk spaces, cleanup candidates, and filter impacts.
  • Space Signals visuals — charts showing activity distribution (active vs. inactive), feature consistency (consistent vs. inconsistent vs. unknown), and risk distribution (high vs. medium vs. low).
  • Insights — top risky spaces, cleanup candidates, and spaces with inconsistent feature configuration.

All metrics and visuals are calculated from the loaded run's stored results. Cleanup candidates are informational only — Audit 360 does not delete, archive, or modify spaces automatically.

Automatically Loading the Latest Run

When you open Spaces Audit and no run has been explicitly loaded from Audit Library and no run is active, Audit Overview automatically loads the latest completed Spaces Audit run (if one exists and can be reconstructed from stored results).

This automatic load lets you see the most recent audit results without extra steps. If you load a run from Audit Library, it replaces the automatic latest result and remains selected until you explicitly load a different run or start a new audit.

Loading a run does not rerun the audit or refresh evidence from Jira. All data shown is from the time the audit was originally run.

Running a New Audit

Run New Audit button appears on Audit Overview. Clicking it starts the read-only Spaces Audit workflow.

Starting a new audit:

  • Begins scanning all Jira spaces in the background.
  • Shows you execution progress on an Execution screen.
  • Replaces the current run context only after the new audit completes successfully.
  • Cannot run in parallel with another Spaces Audit — if one is already queued or running, clicking Run New Audit shows you the active execution instead.

After the audit completes, Audit Overview loads the new run's results automatically.

Empty State and Active Execution

If no completed Spaces Audit run exists, Audit Overview shows an empty state with Run New Audit and Open Audit Library buttons. Use Run New Audit to create the first audit, or Open Audit Library to load a historical run from another site or session.

If a Spaces Audit is currently running, the Spaces module shows an Execution screen with progress updates instead of Overview or Details. You can monitor progress and cancel if needed. After completion, Audit Overview loads the results automatically.
