Spaces Audit

The Spaces Audit scans all accessible Confluence spaces and surfaces governance signals for each space.

What is audited

  • Space key, name, and type (global, personal, archived).
  • Space status and last activity signals.
  • Space permissions overview.
  • Owner or admin assignment signals.

Running a Spaces Audit

  1. Navigate to Audit 360 in Confluence Settings.
  2. Select Spaces Audit.
  3. Click Start audit. The audit runs in the background.
  4. When complete, the results appear in the Spaces Audit view and are saved to the Audit Library.

Interpreting results

The results table lists each space with its governance signals. Use column filters to focus on spaces with specific findings — for example, spaces with no recent activity or no assigned owner.

What is not collected

  • Page body content is not stored.
  • Attachment content is not stored.
  • Results contain counts and metadata signals only.
